Psychological Interventions
Psychological Interventions
I offer a range of psychological services for pregnant women and women and their babies following childbirth. I offer a face to face clinic in Wollaton and E-Therapy for those of you based outside of Nottingham and the UK. I have dual nationality, and I am fluent in both English and Norwegian and can offer E- Therapy across both Norway and the UK. To discuss and find out more about my services and or my expertise, please read below and if you are interested, please contact me using the contact form or directly through the booking system if based in Norway.
The initial consultation will involve exploring the reasons for seeking therapy and if appropriate to develop a clear and tailored psychological intervention based on your individual needs. I would then offer tailored and integrative clinical psychology therapy for you and/or your family during your pregnancy and in the first few years of your baby’s life, if that is what you wish.
I can offer this individually or as a group (family). This can either be face to face or online to suit your needs. I integrate a range of evidence-based therapies to address difficulties you may experience in the perinatal period, including, depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. I am also able to offer interventions to support you with your infant and difficulties you may experience with attachment and bonding. Each therapy is tailored to meet your unique needs to foster a sense of empowerment and resilience.
I also offer a six week parenting course for new parents primarily based on attachment theory called The Circle of Security Parenting. I can offer this in a group or for you as an individual or couple depending on your needs as parents. Please see below for further details of the services I offer.
